Scoiattolo, the system that traverses space
Scoiattolo is a dynamic lighting system that freely traverses the environment, like a playful squirrel leaping from branch to branch.
Scoiattolo was developed to overcome the conventional limits of light. There are no longer set points, but rather a flexible path that connects walls and ceilings. Light turns into a real line of tension, which can be incorporated into both domestic and architectural projects.
The main component of the system is the 4-pole cable that integrates structural function and power supply in a single solution. A high-performance lightweight infrastructure that carries electricity to its intended point, even across walls.
Spot lighting, accent lighting, functional lighting, and scenic lighting are just a few of the several uses for which the lighting fixtures, whether fixed or adjustable, can be readily and flexibly positioned. They are either directly attached to the cable or hanging from it.
Thanks to DALI control with a dedicated control unit, each light source is managed independently. The light intensity can thus be adjusted to suit shifting requirements, offering a high level of customisation and advanced management of lighting scenarios.
Scoiattolo is an open, modular system for residential and professional spaces where light becomes an active part of the design.

The cable
The cable crosses the space, tracing linear or more complex paths between two walls, carrying current to the light elements you have decided to install. There are 4 poles for greater versatility: in fact, multiple functions can be managed independently.
You can choose from different types of lighting fixtures, in fixed versions (e.g. the light module with dark light or module with diffused light) or adjustable ones (e.g. the Sistema U or Grillo spotlights).
If suspension is required for aesthetic or design reasons, the installation can accommodate Colibrì or the suspended Sistema U.
Each module can be:
• anchored straight to the cable
• suspended, to create different levels and depths
The modules are easy to position along the track and can be repositioned according to design specifications. This freedom enables you to combine diffused lighting and spot lighting, enhancing furnishings, surfaces or paths.
The adjustability of some versions allows the light beam to be modulated with precision, offering control and versatility in any context.
The supports are designed to ensure stability, visual continuity and ease of installation.
There are two types:
• the support for fixing the cable to the wall
• the support that ensures the proper tension of the system, preserving the route's linearity even over extended distances to stop the cable from bending
Consistent with the overall design, the supports do not interfere with the project's formal cleanliness of the project.
The Scoiattolo system is compatible with DALI control via a dedicated control unit, which allows independent management of every lighting module.
This enables you to:
• adjust the light intensity
• create customised scenarios
• adapt the lighting to changes in the functions of the space
The ability to control each source separately amplifies the flexibility of the system and extends its use in environments such as offices, showrooms, retail and contemporary domestic spaces.
