Elle Decor Italia celebrates Milan Design Week 2021 with the exhibition-installation Fluid Home, a project dedicated to the evolution of the living space: opened to the public from 5 to 12 September at Palazzo Bovara, Milan.
Fluid Home is a project promoted in collaboration with Elisa Ossino Studio and the purpose is to track the changes taking place in lifestyle, offering an unprecedented point of view.
"Now, more than ever, it is time to think about the household dimension”, says Livia Peraldo Matton, editor in chief of Elle Decor Italia. "The pandemic experience has made us more aware and has helped us realise how the home must meet, today more than before, the new needs of those who live there. In addition to architecture and interior design, comfort, flexibility of spaces and functions, the immediacy of advanced technology interfaces, sustainability, and the relationship with nature are fundamental.”
Colours, lights, shapes, textures, and materials have been chosen to represent an organic, flexible, and informal home; great attention has been paid to the choice of low environmental impact coatings and furnishings that are easy to clean”, explains Elisa Ossino.
Several Martinelli Luce lamps are installed in the different environments; the cobra is located inside the dreaming room, and with its intense red colour it almost seems to break the scene.
Two elastica lamps positioned in parallel welcome visitors in the entrance area of Palazzo Bovara, while the elmetto, delux and calabrone with 3 spots animate the different corners of the flexible living area.
The iconic Ruspa and Elica design the "Room with a view" area with their shapes - the former sculptural, the latter essential - and finally the biconic poles and bowls illuminate the internal garden of Palazzo Bovara.
