Our showroom in San Babila, Milan, hosted the Serpente 60 launch. On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Serpente is bursting with new energy thanks to a special orange finish, a colour that symbolises vitality, optimism and creativity. Serpente, created by Elio Martinelli in 1965, is a classic symbol of Italian design's fusion of innovation and poetry, form and function.

When my son Marco first started playing the piano as a child, I recall this lamp in our house standing out on the instrument.
