The Lucca Comics & Games festival, now in its 55th edition, starts up again this year in presence, from 29 October to 1 November.
A "lighter" and more agile event, which embraces the transition towards new models of cultural entertainment and brings to its audience - in the city, online, on Rai TV and in the Campfires - the best of the universes that are part of the event: comics, games, storytelling and contemporary mythologies, with the stands of the creative industries that represent them.
Claim 2021 is the synthesis and the ideal homage of that immortal verse of Dante Alighieri's La Commedia (from the XXXIV Canto of Inferno) that will accompany also visually the experience of the festival: "... a riveder le stelle: light" is also a hymn to light, to positivity and an opening towards a future characterized also by optimism and hope - emotions that we seem to have almost lost in these last years.
Martinelli Luce, a long-time sponsor of the event - the Level Up section - will illuminate the locations of Palazzo Tucci, the Museo del Fumetto in San Romano, Palazzo Arnolfini and Villa Bottini with a selection of lamps that best match the mood of the event.
From an aerial installation of the Pioppo Luminoso created with the Pistillo lamps, to the iconic Pipistrello and Cobra, up to the more modern Elica (winner of the Compasso d'Oro in 2011 and proposed in a bright yellow version), Biconica Pol , Calabrone da terra and Colibrì da terra.
