From 14 September to 21 November, the historic Olivetti shop, a masterpiece by Carlo Scarpa, in Piazza San Marco in Venice will host the exhibition Together.
Organised by the Architecture magazine IQD in collaboration with FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano - and the Order of Architects of Venice, exhibition curator architect Daniele Lauria, the exhibition aims to provide food for thought on a very topical issue that affects us all: how to live together, in community.
The exhibition takes place at a particular time like the one we are currently experiencing, when we are trying to be more responsible towards the scarcity of raw materials and the social and economic divide that is now obvious.
And it is precisely the word "together" that is the key to understanding the exhibition project, divided into three parts: yesterday, today and tomorrow, where the need to share urban space and create new ways of socialising between individuals emerges.
Martinelli Luce, which shares the values and the spirit of the exhibition, will be the technical sponsor for the lighting component and will offer some of its lamps that will be positioned inside the Olivetti space and will illuminate the exhibition route.
Gala opening on 14 September.
