FLORENCE BIENNALE - "ADI DESIGN MUSEUM IN TOSCANA". 1300 Km of Made in Italy design.
October, 2021

Design will be the true protagonist of the 13th edition of the Florence Biennale to be held in Florence from 23 to 31 October 2021 at the Fortezza da Basso.

The exhibition entitled ADI DESIGN MUSEUM IN TUSCANY - 1,300 km of Made in Italy design, promoted by ADI, will be the highlight of the event, which from the 2019 edition will be flanked, with great success, by the section dedicated to contemporary art.

Curated by ADI Associazione per il Disegno Industriale through the ADI Tuscany Delegation, the exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday 23 October at 12.30 pm, in the presence of Umberto Cabini, President of Fondazione ADI Collezione Compasso d'Oro and Gianfranco Tonti, ADI delegate for relations with Confindustria.

ADI DESIGN MUSEUM IN TUSCANY - 1,300 km of Made in Italy design brings to the attention of visitors some of the excellence of Made in Italy, through the story and exhibition of products that have entered the Historical Collection of the Compasso d'Oro, the award that represents a consolidated and authoritative unit of measurement of the quality of the Italian design system. The products in the Collection are in fact recognised as cultural assets "of exceptional artistic and historical interest" by the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition in Florence, together with the many products representing the know-how expressed by the 13 territorial delegations that make up the ADI, devotes a special in-depth look at Tuscan design.
