ANTONIO CANOVA and Neoclassicism exhibition in Lucca

"Canova's sculptures are not frozen as in marble, but still warm in life" (Vittorio Sgarbi - art critic and historian) Antonio Canova's paintings and sculptures are on view at Lucca through September 29, 2024. An exciting journey that begins with this symbol of the new classicism and ends with the most well-known international exponents, including the masters of the Lucchese and Tuscan same currents. We are honored that this exhibition is taking place in our area and that we can contribute by shedding light on pieces that represent a movement in art that has rediscovery the classical world and its harmonies of forms.
