It was held from 18 to 27 October at the Fortezza da Basso, the twelfth edition of the most important international exhibition of contemporary art in Florence dedicated to the genius of Leonardo da Vinci.
In particular, the theme of the XII Florence Biennale focused on the multi-soul nature of Leonardo, an outstanding artist who in his own way was also a scientist dedicated to study ranging through different disciplines - comparative anatomy, botany, geology, the laws of physics, weaving cosmology in his studies of light, and more.
Among the most important novelties of this edition of the Florentine exhibition was the new space dedicated entirely to Design.
