Massimo Farinatti graduated in architecture under Professor Marco Zanuso, when his department was called "Artistic Design for Industry.” He began his professional career during his studies by working as a freelancer for prestigious creative studios and ateliers in Milan. In the course of time, he has centered his activity on internal architecture, collaborating with the major companies in the field to give life to new types of products and new ways of living. He has taught Industrial Design at the International College of Design and Arts, at Camera della Moda, Scuola Politecnica di Design, and Politecnico di Milano, where he currently collaborates as Subject Matter Expert. He has been a member of ADI (Italian Association for Industrial Design) since 1983 where, in the course of the years, he has held various positions. He has received numerous awards and recognitions such as the Red Dot Award, Compasso d'Oro Internazionale, ADI Design Index, Japan Design Prize.His works embody the aspirations and desires of clients, yielding projects supported by a strict methodological base and by a solid vision of the available resources and technologies, giving rise to products destined to last over time.
