Marta Sansoni

Marta Sansoni, architect, interior designer and designer from Florence.

"Un edificio per il Culto", her project, was selected in 1991 by the Department of Design for the Salon International de l'Architecture in Paris, followed by the Salone dell'Architettura in Milan and, in 1992, the Milan Triennale.

As an Expert in the Subject, he coordinated seminars at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Florence within the course of Interior Design and Architecture between 1990 and 1996.
Since 2007 he has been a member of the Italian Design Council (CID), an advisory body of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities.

In 1990, he was one of the winners in Alessi's "Memory Containers" competition, becoming a designer for the brand, having over 30 projects in the catalogue from 1991 to the present day.
For Alessi, "Folpo" was selected for the 1999 edition of the "International Design Yearbook" and since 2018 has been part of the Permanent Collection of Italian Design at the Milan Triennale.
Some objects from Alessi's "Cactus!" family have been among the Best Sellers - Most Popular & Best Selling Products at the MoMA Design Store - N.Y. and in other international contemporary art museum stores for several years.

From 2016 "Cactus!" bowl enters Alessi's "Super&Popular" and "Icons". In 2022 two glass objects for IVV enter the products of the MoMa Design Store in NY.
