Thanks to the power socket at the bottom of its shade, you are no longer obliged to have one on the wall next to the table. With this design, Studio Natural wanted not only to simplify working from home but also to facilitate the use of devices that require electricity, transforming the dining table into a functional workshop that serves the user's creativity.

With Avro, light is exactly where you want it, the season of hunting for an electrical socket is over. Eating, working, or playing at the same table is no longer a problem. Each activity has its light thanks to the different degrees of brightness you get by playing with dimming.

With Avro, light is exactly where you want it

The season of hunting for an electrical socket is over. Eating, working or playing on the same table is no longer a problem. To each activity its own light thanks to the different degree of brightness you get by playing with dimming. The slightly downward tilted diffuser is reminiscent of the wings of the Avro RJ-70 aircraft from which the lamp takes its name. Avro is a contemporary and innovative lamp.

Compasso d’oro international award

Avro received the International Compasso d'Oro award at Expo 2025 Osaka.

The award was given to projects that best interpreted the Expo theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, divided into three areas: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, Connecting Lives.

Avro stood out for its ability to provide a concrete response to two of these three areas - Empowering Lives and Connecting Lives - thus earning the award.
