"LightRevolution. Design illuminates life." is the catalogue that shows the 32 products that since 1954 have been awarded the Compasso d'Oro.
It shows the exhibition "Light Revolution" which was promoted by Regione Lombardia, ADI and Fondazione ADI Collezione Compasso d'Oro and organized by ADI Lombardia for Milan Design week 2019.
The catalogue displays not only all the award-winning products, designers and companies, but also the evolutionary path that light has had in almost 70 years: from incandescent lamps to LEDs, passing through xenon and fluorescent lamps; a lighting technical and also structural and formal evolution of the Compasso d'Oro award-winning luminaires.
Among the various award-winning lamps could not miss the Elica by Brian Sironi, which in 2011 won the prestigious award.
