COBRA RELOADED _ CONTEST FOR UNDER 35
February, 2018

Martinelli Luce, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the design and production of the COBRA lamp designed by Elio Martinelli in 1968, has launched a competition for the realization of a texture to be applied on the surface of the lamp. The competition, aimed at young designers under 35, was created with the intent of interpreting the timeliness of a lamp, still happily present in the company's catalog. The contest will be judged by an exceptional jury, composed of: Paola Navone, architect; Cristina Morozzi, journalist; Luciano Galimberti, President of ADI; Massimo Farinatti, Coordinator of the ADI Design Department; Emiliana Martinelli and Marco Ghilarducci, respectively President and CEO of Martinelli Luce. The projects must be submitted to the ADI by May 15, 2018, and then the jury will proceed to the selection of three winners. These are the prizes that will be awarded: 1st prize: realization of the lamp with the proposed texture and put into production / 2nd prize: a Cobra lamp Anniversary 50 years / 3rd prize: a Cobra lamp.

Promoted by Martinelli Luce under the patronage of ADI Association for Industrial Design
