Martinelli Luce was a winner of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, a world-renowned design prize. The winning product is Lent lamp, design Yonoh Studio Creative: an hanging lamp with an acoustic comfort through an aluminium reflector covered with a special soundproof material and a fabric. It’s able to absorb the acoustic waves slowing down its reflection. Central spot with an integrated LED light source. Three color fabrics available: grey, yellow mustard and moss green with a black aluminium structure. White opal methacrylate diffuser. Dimmable Push/Dali electronic driver integrated inside the ceiling stud. Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. Lent lamp won over the 63-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its acoustic comfort feature. The competition was intense: over 6,400 entries were submitted from 54 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality. The iF design award night 2018 will be at the BMW Welt in Munich on 9 March 2018. For 65 years, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design.
