From Saturday 9 October the "Pioppo Luminoso" project - a texture by Mauro Lovi - has been on show at Martinelli Luce’s showroom in Via Santa Lucia 9 in Lucca. Mauro Lovi has customized in a warm and decisive way the "texture" of the Pistillo lamp by Emiliana Martinelli for a special edition, styling it like a high fashion garment.
The project was influenced by the artist's fascination in poplar trees, a theme he tackled and developed over a period of ten years through various techniques in paintings, drawings and watercolours.
