WHO IS THE ICONIC COBRA
Born in 1968.
This lamp is held into a sphere, two horizontal tops separate the reflector from the base where you can place items.
It is sinuous and elegant, a hypnotic semi-open sphere that furnishes space with character. Cobra is also dynamic. Just look at it, and the origin of its name is clear: a marked, sinuous line dynamises and animates the body, which rotates around the central articulation to give it the appearance of a cobra. With a single touch, the Cobra lamp changes from a spherical to a sinusoidal profile.

“It was on my mother’s birthday when my father Elio arrived home driving a yellow Beetle. It was his present for Anna, who loved this colour. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth, I wanted to remember him with a special edition of one of the lamps he designed, the “Cobra”, probably the most significant because it encloses his entire design philosophy: purity of shape, geometry, innovation, experimentation with materials and construction technologies.”

Cobra has conquered the hearts of many by becoming a timeless lamp, which is why the re-edition only concerns a choice of colour, while maintaining the fascination of shape that has always distinguished it.
With Cobra 100, the exclusive commemorative print of the original sectional drawing of Cobra is free, authenticated by Emiliana Martinelli, daughter of Elio Martinelli and company president. The limited edition lamp is also accompanied by the certificate of authenticity.
