Marco Pisati

Fascinated by "Air" and "Water", two extremely different but equally elusive and changeable elements, he began his career in the aerospace sector by designing the interiors of the zero-gravity living modules of the International Space Station (ISS) for the Italian Space Agency (ASI).

In his experimentation, he later made room for the element of water, turning to the world of bathroom furniture, creating designs that interact with and enclose this fluid element.

The design that characterises him therefore corresponds to light shapes, recalling the element air, and adaptable shapes recalling the element water.

A two-time Compasso d'Oro nominee, it has received numerous international awards such as: ADI design Index, German Design Award Gold, Red Dot Design Award, Archiproducts Design Award, ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award, Iconic Awards and Grands Prix Du Design Gold.

His experimental design approach leads him to partner with companies as diverse as: Martinelli Luce, Antonio Lupi, De Castelli, Cristina Rubinetterie, DND, Cordivari Design, Treemme Rubinetterie, Inkiostro Bianco, Glass Design, Kerasan, Gattoni Rubinetterie, Emilio Pucci (Louis Vuitton Group), K8 Radiatori, Tonino Lamborghini, Park Avenue.
