Davide Frattini Frilli

frattinifrilli is a design practice founded in 2011 by Davide Frattini Frilli, an architect graduated from the Politecnico di Milano.
The studio focuses on product and interior design, notably retail.
Until 2020 around 50 shops worldwide have been designed for Roger Vivier, a French luxury shoe brand, putting to use the great expertise gained in previous projects, developed with renowned design firms for a wide range of international fashion brands.
Since 2017 the studio has developed furniture and product projects that have been part of several design fairs and exhibitions, have been widely published and rewarded with design prizes like the German Design Award.
Davide Frattini Frilli’s approach combines the architectural training and his Milanese essence with a deep functional and typological thinking. The projects’ inspiration comes from basic geometries and natural structures, as well as from art pieces and architectural landscapes.
His mark, delicate and resolute at once, plays by joining lines and shapes to create essential and functional projects, turning abstract compositions into physical objects. Emphasizing the shape, the choice of using traditional materials (mainly wood and metal), and "simple” finishing, complements his concept of design.
