After earning his degree in Industrial Design from Milan Polytechnic, Andrea Steidl started working at Patricia Urquiola's firm right away, rising to the post of Creative Manager there till 2016. In addition to overseeing the product area, he was in charge of the design department and oversaw site-specific and interior design for different clients, limited editions, and temporary installations.
Simultaneously, he dedicated himself to academic pursuits as a curator of courses at Domus Academy and Scuola Politecnica di Design, as well as an assistant professor at the Milan Polytechnic.
Together with Raquel Pacchini, he established Studio / àr o / in 2016 and has since designed industrial products, installations, graphic design, and art direction for a number of businesses.
In order to build a brand revaluation that focuses on creative direction, products, and visual communication, the studio transforms the client's ideas and inspirations into a value system through the creative process, which is based on strategic, product, and aesthetic research.
