We are pleased to announce that the Elastica lamp, designed by Studio Habits, has been awarded the ADI Design Index 2020 innovation prize.
Elastica has been awarded, according to the motivations of the ADI Design Index, because it is "an exemplary lamp due to the combination of fabric and light technologies which heralds a typological revolution in one of the most crowded sectors of home design and which transforms a domestic object into an unusual and versatile piece of furniture."
The award ceremony, long postponed due to Covid, took place on 28 June at 5:00 pm at the Casa dell'Architettura in Rome.
The architect Emiliana Martinelli, president of the company, and Innocenzo Rifino, co-founder of Habits Studio attended the event to receive the award.
Martinelli luce, proposed by ADI, will receive the 2021 Top Award, a recognition of innovation promoted by the COTEC Foundation with the permission of the President of the Italian Republic.
