AVRO
The Idea
Avro was born out of a concrete need that emerged at a time when our habits changed: smart working. Our homes started to change into offices, gathering places, and recreational areas during that time, creating new demands.
It was from an everyday episode – a cable that hindered movement during a call – that the idea was born, in collaboration with Studio Natural, which gave rise to Avro, designed to make the table functional and prepared for all the activities of modern life.
Studio Natural has designed Avro, a pendant lamp that cleverly conceals a socket in the lower part of its shade. Because it is possible to utilize the one inside the lamp, the constraint of the nearest wall socket is no longer a limitation to the freedom of use of space.
Compasso d’oro international award
Avro's functional design, conceived to accompany and enhance everyday gestures, has also gained international recognition.
Avro received the International Compasso d'Oro award at Expo 2025 Osaka. The award was given to projects that best interpreted the Expo theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, divided into three areas: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, Connecting Lives.
Avro stood out for its ability to provide a concrete response to two of these three areas — Empowering Lives and Connecting Lives — thus earning the award.
Functionality
At home: the home is no longer just a hearth, but a real ecosystem. Avro meets the needs of those who have to work from home by simplifying the organisation of the work area.
In contract settings
In shared spaces – co-working spaces, offices, study rooms or lounge areas – Avro becomes an effective ally. Installation on tracks expands its versatility: a dynamic system that allows you to modulate lighting and distribute power points, adapting to any configuration.
The power socket
The power socket under the diffuser frees you from the constraints of the wall. Connecting devices becomes a natural and convenient gesture, leaving the space tidy and ready for any use.
The design
A slightly inclined diffuser, soft colours that soften the visual profile, diffused light, simple shapes that stand the test of time.
The Design Accessory
The optional cubic power strip, designed by Avolt, offers two USB ports and three Schuko sockets in a minimalist design. Thanks to the integrated magnet, it can be quickly attached where needed. Available in grey and ocean blue, it naturally matches the four Avro finishes, completing its functionality.
The lamp for hybride life
Avro is a lamp that improves the quality of space: it illuminates and, thanks to the socket under the diffuser, provides an electrical outlet for every personal smart device with a a single motion.
The methacrylate diffuser and aluminum body blend structural solidity with visual lightness, while the modern design maintains its most innovative soul.

Avro junior
With a reduced diameter of 30 cm, Avro Junior is designed to optimise space in confined environments. Suspended on a track, it makes public areas more flexible in terms of the placement of electronic devices, as well as safer and tidier.
Avro Sonda
Drawing influence from Avro's design, the single electrical socket is transformed into a focal point by means of two mirrored cones that highlight the activity of the socket with a diffuser in the middle that illuminates at regular intervals.
